Liz Cass is a mezzo of unique brilliance, depth, and agility.  Her voice adapts easily to fit a wide array of repertoire and styles.  Ms. Cass has star quality that radiates through her portrayals on the operatic stage and in concert.  Liz was recently seen as Thisbe in Rossini’s La Cenerentola with Austin Lyric Opera prompting this review by Paul E. Amongst the cast I would single out Cara Johnston and Liz Cass as Cinderella’s sisters, for both their vocal and histrionic efforts. They sang beautifully, their antics were hilarious.

Ms. Cass sings regularly with Austin Lyric Opera, Austin Symphony Orchestra, Austin Civic Chorus, Austin Classical Guitar Society, and in Guatemala with the Instituo Guatemalteco Americano for their annual Messiah and Christmas concert.
